I moved to the Lake City area in 1984, coming here from Ft. Lauderdale, so this has been my home for more than 20 years. If there are any questions that you may have concerning the school systems here in Columbia County, I have gained a lot of knowledge through my son's education here in Lake City and then at the University of Florida (as well as through my own education, at Lake City Community College).
Over the years, I have worked with many of the youth of our community as a baseball coach in the Dixie Youth baseball program and as a certified bowling coach for the Young American Bowling Alliance. I enjoy fishing, scalloping, bowling, and I love watching sports on television -- especially college football. I love being outdoors working in my yard and working in my vegetable garden; I find it very rewarding.
